The Reindeer People

There are many people that live in the frozen areas of Northern Russia. Some are Russian while others are part of a group of people that spans our world. They are descendants of the Mongolian people. They can be found in Alaska, Russia, Finland, Greenland, Canada, the Indians of North America, and others. They find their living through fishing and hunting. They are nomadic, living in tents made of skins. Many of these still live a life style seemingly untouched by society.

 

 

 

This is the area that we would like to live and work in. One of the largest groups of Reindeer people called Nenets are located in this area. We are still praying for wisdom and direction as where the best place to base our ministry from.
