Packing, Packing, Packing!

Packing has gone well. Really better than last summer. Trying to keep our bags under 50 pounds can be challenging. This time I'm taking over some of my kitchen stuff and a view extras to make our room feel somewhat more like home. Last night Joel and I went through our stuff we have stored with my parents. I had not seen it in a couple years and it was so fun to go through. We only had room for a few things though so most of it went back in the boxes. I must remind myself...it's only stuff. :)

  1. I want to introduce myself. I am Jolene Sloan, wife of David Sloan, (3rd generation MK) and we have been in Ukraine for nearly 10 years. We speak Russian here, too, so I'm pretty sure our cultures are very, very similar. I had to smile at the title of your blog, since mine is "With Love from Ukraine." I just subscribed to your blog and look forward to getting to know you this way! And, welcome to the mission field!

  2. It is nice to "meet" you! :) About the title...they say great minds think alike. Your blog is so cute! I have a lot to learn. LOL It just dawned on me one day that it would be fun to blog. I had no idea how many other missionary wives blog! It's been fun reading about others on the field. :)
